ICTE 2008 is expected to create a significant shift in teaching and training methods, moving from chalks & boards to e-lecturing & online learning. Besides, post the event, projects in creating a Data Center and a Telecommunication Infrastructure for education will be put into action and executed.

2008 – 2009: ICT academic year

launching “Best E-Lecture” contest

The MoET has decided to choose year 2008 – 2009 as the ICT academic year for Vietnamese education sector. The MoET welcome various IT organizations whose expertise are in IT network, education software, data system, telecommunication infrastructures, IT training, etc. to join the event and assist the government in achieving its goals in implementing ICT in education

To promote the modernization of teaching and learning methods, the MoET officially launches the Best E-lecture Contest among teachers and professors of all academic level. The MoET looks for innovation and creativity whilst delivering the correct information and knowledge in an interesting lecture.

The first video conferencing with 5 points over the country

Running concurrent with the Conference, the Education Expo is expected to attract numerous visitors who are keen on high technology for teaching. Best and most fitted ICT products and services will be shown at the Expo. This is a great opportunity for schools, universities, especially kindergartens to arrive and to be exposed to innovated and wonderful teaching programs and methods
